Cloudberry Creations Releases London Oxford Airport for MSFS 2024

The one-man band that makes up new scenery developer Cloudberry Creations has released their first product for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024; London Oxford/Kidlington Airport (ICAO: EGTK).

The busy airport in the Oxfordshire countryside is home to a number of flight schools, business jets operators and was previously a military base for the Royal Air Force. A number of professional pilots in the UK will no doubt have visited Oxford at some stage in their career for either ground-based training or in their aircraft for flight-based manoeuvres (myself included).

Cloudberry Creations’ representation of Kidlington includes an up-to-date airfield layout, with custom textures and models representing major buildings on the site, including recent construction work at the airport such as the new Airbus hangar and science park.

Additionally, hand placed vegetation and road markings bring the surrounding airport area to life, all the while a refined LOD system for models helps to maintain a high level of performance. Moreover, despite being an accurate rendition of the airfield in its present state, Cloudberry Creations promise to update the scenery as progress in the real world continues, writing ‘we plan on updating the airport buildings and taxiways to match their real life changes free of charge as part of our offering.’

You can purchase a copy of Cloudberry Creations London Oxford / Kidlington Airport for MSFS 2024 from their website for €11.99.
