With Wildfires, dynamic fires can exist outside of MSFS 2024’s career mode for the first time, and become moving forces of nature. Fires can ignite randomly or on command, and spread dynamically driven by both wind and terrain. A fully interactive in-game operations panel allows users to track active fires, monitor wind conditions, and execute precision drops using water or retardant. Users can also use the control panel to choose drop style, manage the aircraft’s payload, and receive feedback on the effectiveness of the attack. Compatible with all firefighting aircraft in the sim, the DLC is designed to support joystick button-bindings and VR users as well.
