Scenery developer Charity Scenery Project has released a new brand new airfield for X-Plane 11, with all of the proceeds going to charity. Royal Air Force Station Husbands Bosworth first opened in 1943 as a training base for night bombing operations. After its closure for training purposes, the airfield now operates as a gliding club and rapid response police helicopter airport. It is also used by East Midlands Air Support Unit during times of emergency.
The airport scenery product features custom buildings, groundwork and texturing throughout and enhances the default area considerably. Custom night lighting has also been included for those looking to try some night-time operations.
The donationware scenery product can be yours for just £1.00. The proceeds will be going to London Air Ambulance to support the vital services they provide. You can get Charity Scenery Project Husband’s Bosworth for X-Plane 11 directly from their website.
