CGN Dev 737 Classic August 24th Development Update

Max, lead developer of CGN Dev has shared on their website a development update of their Boeing 737 Classic for P3D. The developers have put their efforts in the FMC, mostly concentrating on the appearance of the fonts and the button animations, but also successfully implemented dual FMC operation between the two units.

Regarding the modeling, the team has been progressing well on the 3D cockpit which received their main focus, where most analog gauges are now complete. The developer is however unable to show screenshots of these, and instead shared detailed of the modeling of the yoke and rudder pedals. The developer finally stated that the exterior 3D model has been revamped due to shading and modeling issues.

Finally, the developer has indicated they are looking into the MSFS SDK, however they have yet to make an official announcement regarding the future availability of their 737 Classic on the platform.

Stay tuned on FSElite, following closely on the development of the CGN Dev 737 Classic.
