Digital Replica has made their debut into the X-Plane aircraft development scene, with the release of the Cessna 310L through X-Aviation.
The Cessna 310 is a four-to-six seater, twin-engined aircraft that had a production run between 1954 and 1980. Powering the aircraft originally, was two horizontally opposed piston engines that were capable of 240hp each. Later in the aircraft’s model life, this was increased to 260hp by changing these engines out for two turbo-charged engines.
The 310L was built as a long-range variant of the base 310 model, giving it increased fuel capacity through the addition of wing tanks, as well as optional tanks in the engine nacelles. Additionally, the 310L model also was given a single-piece windshield, along with a handful of minor changes.
Digital Replica’s 310L features a custom 3D cockpit and cabin with PBR throughout, wingflex animation, a realistic flight model, many custom-coded systems, and a pilot operating handbook, along with performance charts, checklists, and an interactive weight & balance menu.
