Asian scenery developer CelestialTeam2, known for their Shenzhen Bao’an and Yangzhou Taizou sceneries, has again returned to the Chinese mainland, this time releasing their iteration of ZYTX, Shenyang Taoxian International Airport for P3Dv4 & v5.
Shenyang Taoxian Airport is an international hub, located in the North-Eastern part of China, and servicing the city of Shenyang, capital of China’s Liaoning province. The airport serves as a focus city for Chinese carrier and former SkyTeam alliance member China Southern Airlines and saw about 15 million passengers pass through its doors, back in 2016. Although mainly serving as a domestic hub, Shenyang does offer international routes including passenger services to Frankfurt, Tokyo, Taipei, Seoul, Vancouver, and Pyongyang, the capital city of the People’s Republic of North Korea.
CelestialTeam2 has provided community members with a faithful recreation of this important Chinese hub. CelestialTeam2’s rendition of the airport comes with accurate and custom made ground textures, animated SODE jetways, PBR textures for all three terminal buildings, static vehicles, dynamic lights, as well as seasonal textures. Also, judging by the screenshots provided by the developer, the scenery is equipped with modelled terminal interiors.
