Carenado Announces Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX G1000 for X-Plane 11

Over on Facebook, Carenado announced their newest project, the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX G1000 for X-Plane 11. The Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX is an upgraded version of the C208B. The C208B EX features a more powerful 867 hp Pratt and Whitney PT6A-140 engine , an 11 knot faster cruise speed , and a higher rate of climb that has been improved by 94 feet per minute. As suggest by the name, the C208B EX G1000 will feature a Garmin G1000 suite of avionics.

Carenado’s announcement was quite short and not many details were released. No pictures of the flight deck were released, however, we can speculate that the G1000 avionics will be simulated using a modified version of the default X-Plane 11 G1000. It was stated that release is “coming very soon”, stay tuned to FSElite for more information in Carenado’s C208B Grand Caravan EX G1000!
