CaptainSim Announces Five 777 Captain Expansions

The Captain Sim team has announced a further five expansions coming soon for their Boeing 777 ‘Captain’ product line. The line-up currently features a 777-200ER with GE94 engines, a 777-300ER with GE115 engines and a 777F. The product line-up has previously been fairly controversial, as the aircraft lacks any 777 flight dynamics or systems; the aircraft has instead been created upon MSFS’ default 747-8. FSElite was also not very enthusiastic about this practice and the plane itself, as you can read in our review.

The Captain Sim team is now planning to add the following variants to the line-up:

  • 777-200ER PW4000 Expansion
  • 777-200ER RR Trent 800 Expansion
  • 777-200LR GE110 Expansion
  • 777-300 PW4000 Expansion
  • 777-300 RR Trent 800 Expansion

The developer did not share any details about these expansions. The website lists them as ‘coming soon’, and no price details have yet been shared. Captain Sim’s current aircraft are all available as stand-alone products for $29.99 each.
