Over on Facebook, Captain7 gave a development status regarding a few ongoing projects, including Nuremberg for X-Plane. Let’s take a look at all the updates shared in the post.
Nuremberg (X-Plane)
This scenery was released from Prepar3D back in 2018, and was very highly rated by us. Captain7 has been working on an X-Plane version for this popular scenery, and beta tests are currently ongoing for this airport. The developer hopes that he will soon be able to talk about a release date.
Hannover (Prepar3D)
The modelling work on the airport has been progressing quickly, and the current state is quite advanced. Unfortunately, further development of the scenery has run into a bit of a show-stopper. The airport is currently undergoing extensive construction work, and the development team of Captain7 has not yet been able to perform on-site photo sessions. The team hopes they will get a chance to do so in spring of 2020, after which development should continue.
Heringsdorf (Prepar3D)
The oldest scenery Captain7 has under the belt, recently got a fresh update making it all ready for 2020. One of the most mentioned points of feedback was that users wanted better integration with Orbx EU Germany North, which has now been added. Other improvements include an increase in 3D grass and vegetation, as well as some performance optimisations. The team has also fixed some minor bugs to the scenery.
