The SPAD S.XIII was a French biplane used primarily during World War 1, built by Société Pour L’Aviation et ses Dérivés (SPAD) and introduced in 1917, the S.XIII became one of the most effective and widely used biplane fighters of the war. 8,472 of the type were built by SPAD, making it one of the most produced fighters of the First World War.
