Captain Sim has released its next instalment in the C-130 collection. The C-130J Super Hercules is a 6-blade propeller that has been delivered to over 25 operators across 22 countries.
What is unique with this release is the airdrop feature that comes with ‘true to life’ physics and animations. Once you release the airdrop, you can see the crates release from the plane and then the parachute release, with a safe landing then happening on the ground. You can see it in action in the video below.
As with other Captain Sim products, it comes with a range of other visual features such as a complete cabin with 3D interior, optional smoke effects, various liveries and removal of external tanks. There are various animations such as doors, engine cowlings, refuelling hatches, and the paratroop doors.
Captain Sim has also included a classic steam gauge cockpit for the C-130, simulation of classic systems, functional flares, adjustable lighting and custom camera views.
