Captain Sim Releases a UFO for Flight Simulator

Captain Sim has taken a step back from developing aircraft to create something else to fly through the virtual skies. Probably released as a bit of a tongue-in-cheek product to suit the Halloween vibe, but you can now fly a UFO across Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

The disc-shaped craft features high-resolution textures, detailed lighting, and a holographic cockpit interface in place of traditional instruments. Pilots can switch between hover and forward-flight modes, experimenting with a variety of unique capabilities including invisibility, spin mode, alien-vision, and even an abduction beam.

It’s a novelty aircraft product for those looking to explore the simulator from a different perspective or create cinematic scenes. The package also includes three liveries and a series of fun visual effects such as orbs and flares.

You can buy it from the in-sim Marketplace for $9.99 USD.
