Canadian Flight Sim Studios has released their latest project for MSFS 2024, this time taking us to Vancouver’s general aviation scene with Boundary Bay airport.
Boundary Bay Airport (CZBB/YDT) has been consistently ranked as one of Canada’s busiest airports by aircraft movements. Opened in Summer 1983, Boundary Bay Airport was designed with general aviation at top-of-mind. The airport was constructed to ease congestion on Vancouver International Airport, with the sole purpose of serving general aviation traffic. There are also a number of aircraft maintenance and flight training facilities on the field, as well as a Canada Border Services Agency facility for international arrivals. With two runways measuring 5,500+ feet, Boundary Bay is capable of handling business jets and general aviation aircraft of all sizes.

Canadian Flight Sim Studios’ rendition of Boundary Bay Airport was built with accuracy and details in mind. After extensive research, the team carefully modeled all of the buildings and aprons to accurately reflect the real-life airport. The developer noted specific attention to the placement of airport markings and lights to ensure an immersive experience. With the airport surrounded by the water and mountains, Boundary Bay Airport serves as the perfect launching point for sightseeing and sunset flights to locals throughout Canada.
You can now purchase Canadian Flight Sim Studios’ Boundary Bay scenery for MSFS 2024 directly from their website for CS $19.99.
