Located just outside of London lies the busy Damyns Hall Aerodrome (EGML), and destination of Burning Blue Design’s latest scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator. As a privately owned unlicensed airport commercial transport passenger flights are prohibited, but the airport is still very busy, hosting a wide variety of flying schools and clubs.
Burning Blue Design have built a reputation of highly detailed airports with a lot of custom objects, and Damyns Hall Aerodrome aims to live up to this standard. Over 60 custom objects have been included in this scenery. There is also a large variety of authentic static aircraft to be found, such as a Boeing PT-17 Stearman or a De Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth. The scenery uses the accurate and up-to-date 2023 layout for the runway and taxiways, and an animated hangar door as well as animated spectators aim to provide an immersive feeling at this airport.
Burning Blue Design’s Damyns Hall Aerodrome is available for £10.95 from their website.
