BRSimDesigns has released an updated version of their AA-5B Tiger add-on for MSFS, now featuring the Garmin G1000 avionics.
The Grumman AA-5B Tiger is a four-seater, single-engine aircraft known for its applications in flight training and touring. Taking to the skies for the first time in the 1970s, the Tiger is well-regarded for its responsive handling, high-cruising speed, and fuel efficiency. The aircraft features a sliding canopy, giving the cockpit an airy feel, while the sleek exterior design helps reduce drag and maintenance needs. In 2019, Garmin received a Supplemental Type Certificate to outfit the Tiger with a full glass cockpit.

BRSimDesigns’ rendition of the AA-5B Tiger G1000 accurately models the real-life aircraft with a WT-Garmin G1000 dual screen system with autopilot, free-castor nose wheel, and an authentic Wwise sound pack. Like BRSimDesigns’ first AA-5B Tiger, the G1000 version features 4K and 8K textures, PBR materials, and MSFS volumetric lights. In addition, the aircraft features a tablet to configure fuel/payload, configure the panel type, and toggle ground controls.
You can now purchase BRSimDesigns’ AA-5B Tiger G1000 from simMarket for €19.99. If you purchased the original AA-5B Tiger from simMarket, you are entitled to the upgrade price of €13.99.
