Developer Gaya Simulations has issued a brief statement on Facebook regarding the status of the development of Vienna for Prepar3D and X-Plane, along with an upcoming update for the already released Kos.
Raz, Founder of Gaya Simulations, said that the team are doing well and are currently in quarantine during this time. The team are used to working from home and are “working around the clock” to finish and release content for the community.
For Vienna, he said that they are beta testing both versions. As with other products from Gaya Simulations, Vienna Airport on Prepar3D and X-Plane is being developed in parallel and they are not a conversion/port of one another. He said that he can’t put a finger on a specific release date, but is “pretty sure it will release during this global quarantine period.”
With regards to Kos, Raz said that a new update is complete and is in testing right now. It will consist of further optimisations, new taxi signs and additional static aircraft. Furthermore, he said that there will be a control panel and also “more goodies” to enjoy.
Raz concluded by wishing everyone good health in the weeks to come during this pandemic. You can see a bunch of previews for Vienna here. If you’re looking to pick up Kos, you can buy that from OrbxDirect.
