BravoAirspace has released new updates for its 787-9 and 787-8 series for Microsoft Flight Simulator, focusing on visual improvements, refined sounds, and better system integration.
For the 787-9 (v1.3.1), the update introduces a reorganised file structure for easier compatibility with Newsky and other third-party tools, an all-new sound set featuring interior ambience and rolling effects, and improved PFD colours and fonts for realism. Two new liveries — Air New Zealand ZK-NZG and Norse Atlantic G-CKWP — have also been added, alongside slower door animations, updated cockpit textures from Polystorm3D, and uninterrupted cabin announcements during view changes.
The 787-8 (v2.4.0) receives the same core sound and texture improvements, plus a new JAL EXPO 2025 livery and updated interiors for ANA, American Airlines, British Airways, JAL, and United. A visible copilot model has been added, along with fixes for previous texture issues and improved ground power unit modelling.

Both aircraft now align with the latest Working Title 787-10 systems, while GSX profiles and paint kits have been refreshed on the BravoAirspace website and flightsim.to. A HUD issue in the 787-9 has already been patched and sent to Microsoft.
BravoAirspace says these incremental updates form part of an ongoing effort to modernise and refine its 787 lineup, prioritising steady improvements over large, delayed overhauls.
