X-Plane developer Boundless Simulations has announced that they are developing Kerry Airport (EIKY) for the platform. As a small regional airport in Ireland, the airport serves two primary airlines; Aer Lingus and Ryanair. Both airlines operate short-haul routes to destinations such as Dublin, Berlin, Alicante, Faro and more. The airport features a short 6,500ft runway and over 330,000 passengers passed through its doors last year.
Boundless Simulations has confirmed that the airport will come fully featured including high-quality PBR texturing, custom ground textures and a full suite of night lighting. Alongside those standard features, Boundless will also include fully modelled car parks, static aircraft and also a range of custom-designed buildings.
A release date hasn’t yet been revealed, but the developer did tell us that they anticipate the product selling for £16.99, but that has yet to be confirmed.
We’ll inform you of a release date and price once we know.
