X-Plane scenery developer, Boundless, has released their latest airport, Ireland West Airport Knock (EIKN).
Knock airport is located in the Northwest region of Ireland, in County Mayo, 12 miles to the north of the village of Knock. The airport first opened in 1985 with weekly flights to Rome with Aer Lingus. Today, the airport sees over three-quarters of a million passengers, making it the fourth busiest in Ireland after Dublin, Cork and Shannon. The airport handles flights to London Gatwick with Aer Lingus and Birmingham, Bristol, Malaga and Mallorca with Ryanair.
Boundless has recreated Knock airport to incorporate a highly accurate airport layout using 2020 high-definition ortho-imagery as well as custom 4k PBR ground textures and HD building textures. The airport has been brought to life with modelled terminal building interior and a whole host of static and animated airport vehicles and static GA aircraft. Surrounding the airport, Boundless has modelled 3D grass and vegetation as well as HD trees and custom road traffic.
Head over to the Boundless store to purchase Ireland West Airport Knock (EIKN) for £12.99.
