Boundless has released a brand new update for their existing Dublin Airport (EIDW) scenery on X-Plane.
Version 1.5 brings with it a lot of new features and functionality that improve on the original release. The new update includes the brand new 10L/28R runways found at the airport, improved performance across the board and added extra 4K photorealistic textures for various areas included. There’s been an improvement on the night lighting, as well as new optional HD static aircraft.
Further to the bug fixes and enhancements, version 1.5 also brings with it full X-Plane 12 compatibility and specific features. All of this is part of the package so existing users will benefit from the free update.
Boundless said, “we’re thrilled to announce the release of our long anticipated and free upgrade for Dublin Airport. Since our initial release back in May 2022, the real world airport has seen some significant changes. All these are reflected in the upgrade – as well as lots of other visual and performance improvements.” They continued, “we hope that the upgrade and addition of XP12 compatibility reflects our commitment to both XP11 and XP12 as we continue to bring new locations to both sims”
