If you’re looking to recreate some 747 retirement flights in X-Plane 11, then Boundless will have you covered once they release their upcoming rendition of Kemble. Announced earlier today on Facebook, the team will bring the active airport to the simulator with plenty of details and features to keep you entertained.
Kemble, also known as Cotswold Airport (EGBP), is home to a very active GA scene with various flight schools and training centres in the area. However, as of late, it’s been known to be the final destination for much larger aircraft. For example, British Airways sent many of their retired 747s to rest at the airport whilst they awaited their fate.
The airport from Boundless will include the entire airport in great detail, along with HD orthoimagery, various static models and custom animated trains that run through the nearby railway station. Along with the features, two previews were teased for the upcoming airport release.
Update: We now know that the product will release in 3-weeks time for the price of £11.99. We have also updated the article with some new screenshots.
