Boris Audio Works has updated its PMDG 777 Ultimate Sound Set to V1.1.0 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.
Several sounds have been updated and reworked across all engine variants, including cockpit and exterior soundscapes. Engine audio sees significant attention, including a complete rework of the GE90 buzz on the 777-200ER, and improvements to PW4000 drop spool behaviour. The update also introduces a louder, sharper chiller boost fan, less bassy avionic fan sounds, refined hydraulic and fan attenuation curves, corrections to warning sounds and a fix for missing Rolls-Royce Trent engine idle sounds.

- Fixed RR eng2 idle not playing
- Made cockpit wind a bit louder at 320 knots IAS (kept it the same under)
- Added exterior fuel pump sound (200ER only)
- Made spoiler auto-deploy and retract a bit quieter
- Added slat turbulence/drag sounds
- Fixed passenger chatter in 2024
