BMWorld & AmSim Release Oakland Airport for MSFS

Only a month since their last release, BEAUTIFUL MODEL of the WORLD and AmSim continue their partnership to bring us Oakland International Airport (KOAK) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Oakland International Airport is a major airport in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, serving both domestic and international flights. It is located in the city of Oakland, approximately 10 miles east of downtown San Francisco.

The airport serves as a focus city for Southwest Airlines and is also one of the busiest cargo hubs in the United States with FedEx and UPS. In addition to these carriers, many other major airlines operate out of Oakland International Airport, including Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines and Volaris. At present Oakland has around 48 destinations in 3 countries with the longest route to and from Oakland being the Azores (Seasonal), at 4,895 miles non stop operated by an Azores Airlines Airbus A321LR.

BMWorld and AmSim’s joint rendition includes high-resolution texturing throughout, detailed terminals and surrounding buildings, terminal interiors, custom jetways, parallax windows, animated BART train, custom night lighting, airline parking codes for every gate and is fully compatible with AI traffic addons such as FSLTL and FS Traffic.

You can purchase Oakland International Airport (KOAK) for Microsoft Flight Simulator from Orbx Direct for $28.00 AUD (approximately US$18.43 | €16,78 | £14.79).
