Only a few months since their last release, BEAUTIFUL MODEL of the WORLD and AmSim have partnered up again to bring us Memphis International Airport (KMEM) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Memphis International Airport is a large airport located 7 miles southeast of downtown Memphis, Tennessee, US. Opening in 1929, Memphis is one of the busiest cargo hubs in the world and is home to the FedEx Express global hub often referred to as the FedEx Superhub which processes most of its cargo. FedEx Express hauls cargo all over the United States and around the world to destinations such as Dubai, Hong Kong, London, Paris, São Paulo and Tokyo.

Passenger-wise, the airport is served by a handful of different airlines with 32 destinations across the US. The longest route to and from Memphis is Los Angeles, at 1,003 miles non-stop operated by Allegiant Airlines, Delta Airlines and Spirit Airlines. In 2021 the airport saw 3.5 million passengers through its doors and handled a whopping 1.8 million tonnes of cargo!
