BlueBird Simulations continues to provide bite-sized updates providing the community with information on their projects for Microsoft Flight Simulator. In the latest video, we hear from the team about how things are progressing with the 757, and other products from the team.
To begin, it was made ultra clear that the development of the 767 and the 787 have no impact on how progress is going on the anticipated 757. That is not new information as it has been made clear multiple times, but it was yet again itterated here for the benefit of those still concerned that having multiple projects on the go at once was having a detrimental impact on the other. That said, we did get a sneaky teaser of the 787 cockpit to appease fans.
Moving onto the 757 itself, the team gave us a brief update in part 1 of the video update series for the plane.
In this particular video, the team wanted to show off the night lighting. We saw a few teaser screenshots a few days ago, but the video gives it a lot more context. In the next video update, expect to hear more sounds from the work Borris has been doing.
757 Release Details
At this stage, it is still unknown when the Boeing 757 will come out. BlueBird did say that they hope next month will be hopefully the month they will know if they will make it for the end of the year. That said, they won’t hesitate to delay until 2025 in order to ensure this plane is just right.
In the video, they laid out high expectations that this will the “best 757 created for any flight sim”, including anything on other platforms. It’s a bold statement, but BlueBird seem confident they will be able to deliver on this.
As usual, we’ll stick with it and let you know when that video is out or any other information on the 757 from BlueBird Simulations.
