Late in the American evening of Sunday, 19th July 2026, BlueBird Simulations posted an announcement on its Discord channel highlighting the release of its new website.
BlueBird 757 Feature List: Systems
In conjunction with the rollout of the new website, BlueBird Simulations published a blog post titled “The Ultimate Feature Breakdown” covering the forthcoming 757 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.
The developer reiterated its ambitious goals for the 757 by stating that its philosophy is to build an aircraft where systems like electrical, environmental, and cabin pressurization dynamically interact with one another.
The electrical system features over 500 mapped circuit breakers. At release, more than 200 breakers will be functional, with 300 more planned to be added over time.
Passenger counts, open doors, wind, weather, and pack configuration all affect cabin temperature in what BlueBird calls Dynamic Environmental Logic (ATA 21).
A fully simulated cabin pressurization system referred to as Advanced Pneumatics (ATA 36) features three pressurization modes (two automatic and one manual) driving an automated schedule through six distinct phases of flight.
Avionics on the 757 are built entirely from scratch for high-fidelity airliner operations. The autopilot is bound tightly by real-world control laws across all three Flight Control Computers (FCCs).
The FMC is modeled after the Pegasus version. It supports:
- Full LNAV/VNAV with RNAV legs, holds, missed approaches, and go-arounds.
- Accurate autoland behavior and auto-trim systems.
- CDU Hardware & ACARS Integration: Full communication to MobiFlight for external hardware, alongside Hoppie ACARS integration supporting DCL and Air-to-Air messaging. SimBrief and Navigraph performance uplinks are fully supported.







BlueBird 757 Feature List: Cabin
Despite the rise of third-party AI tools for cabin simulation, BlueBird built a three-zone flight attendant intercom for the 757. Flight attendants across each zone can call the flight deck with requests, reminders to turn on seatbelt signs for descent, or alerts for uncomfortable cabin temperatures.
Emergency Triggers allow the attendants to react to critical situations including passenger oxygen deployment and cabin altitude warnings.
A functional GND CALL button works directly with a SimBrief flight plan and the EFB’s boarding states to manage and remove ground power.
Engines, Flight Dynamics, and Sound
Both the Rolls-Royce RB211-535E and Pratt & Whitney PW2000 engine models are represented. Each engine model includes accurate performance tuning, custom Electronic Engine Control (EEC) logic, and windmilling behavior.
A Dynamic Audio Environment models nuances like shifts in the pitch of cockpit electronics based on generator frequencies, while engine acoustics change based on seating angle and airspeed.
Sounds on the 757 were sourced from over 450 cockpit audio samples and hundreds of exterior/cabin samples captured with professional equipment.
EFB
BlueBird calls the 757’s EFB a central command station. Users will be able to load a variety of preconfigured panel states, manage payload, and request ground services like fuel trucks, catering, and pushback.
The EFB also acts as a hub for the 757’s maintenance and system synoptics simulation. It includes main gear disc temperature monitoring, ram air turbine (RAT) deployment states, and interactive live schematics.








Release Date, Pricing, and System Requirements
According to BlueBird “We are still working incredibly hard and are fully on track for our Q3 release window. We are committed to delivering the level of depth detailed above right out of the gate.”
Pricing for the 757 remains consistent with earlier announcements at USD 80 / EUR 69,92 / GBP 59.43.
The developer also published new system requirements which are:

- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: RTX 2080 / RX 5700XT
- VRAM: 8 GB
- Storage: 15 GB
