Over on the MSFS forums, developer BlackBox Simulation seems to have announced their next project coming to MSFS. Following on the BN-2 Islander, which was released for MSFS by the team in May of last year, the team now seems to be working on the successor of the plane, the BN-2A Mk III Trislander. The Trislander features a stretched fuselage and modified landing gear, but most of all a third prop engine in the tail section of the aircraft that makes it truly stand out. In the forum post, the team confirmed that they will bring both the long-nose and the short-nose variant of the plane to the simulator. Furthermore, the developer claims that once the Trislander has been released, the Islander will receive a ‘Full Study Level’ upgrade.
