Black Square Releases Baron and Bonanza Professional for MSFS

The Baron and Bonanza Professional bring an even more refined, even more realistic experience to the developer’s lineup…

Black Square Releases Baron and Bonanza Professional for MSFS

Black Square has released its much-anticipated Baron and Bonanza Professional series for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2020 and 2024. Building on the developer’s hugely popular Steam Gauge Overhaul Analog series Baron and Bonanza for MSFS 2020, the aircraft are advertised as the “most technically advanced aircraft simulations for Microsoft Flight Simulator”.

Developed as standalone products rather than simple port-overs of the Black Square’s Analog Steam Gauge Overhaul Series, the Baron and Bonanza Professional feature fully custom interior and exterior models, along with advanced engine simulations, failure modeling, hot-swappable radio configurations, highly realistic systems modeling, and a sound package by Boris Sound Works.

Each standalone aircraft delivers three distinct variants under a single purchase: the Baron Professional includes the normally aspirated B58, the turbocharged B58TC, and the pressurized B58P (“P-Baron”); while the Bonanza Professional features the piston A36, a turbo-normalized A36TC, and the A36TP Turboprop Conversion featuring a PT6A engine. For flight simmers seeking the ultimate general aviation fleet, Black Square, through its retail partner, JustFlight.com, is offering a bundle featuring both products and all six variants at a significant discount compared to purchasing them individually.

Bonanza Professional Variants:

  • A36 (Normally aspirated, mid-2000s model)
  • A36TC (2001, turbo-normalized aftermarket variant)
  • A36TP (PT6A-powered turboprop conversion)

Baron Professional Variants:

  • B58TC (1984 turbocharged variant)
  • B58P (1985 pressurized “P-Baron”)
  • B58 (Normally aspirated, mid-2000s model)

For a detailed overview of what is included in each aircraft package, Black Square has provided an illustrated guide to all major improvements since the Analog Baron and Bonanza’s original release in 2023. You can find guides for both the Baron Professional and Bonanza Professional on each aircraft’s product page. For those seeking even more detail, the full, 200+ page manuals for each aircraft (Baron, Bonanza) are also available on JustFlight.com

The Black Square Baron Professional and Bonanza Professional are priced at $44.99 USD each from Just Flight. A bundle featuring both aircraft is also available for $64.99 USD. Previous owners of the original Black Square Steam Gauge Overhaul Analog Baron or Analog Bonanza (or the Analog bundle) who purchased through the Just Flight store are eligible for a 20% discount on the new Professional series.
