Developer Big Tire Productions has released their Carbon Cub EX for X-Plane 11. The aircraft has half the parts of the Piper Super Cub, and weighs 300lbs less thanks to the modern avionics and use of carbon materials. The aircraft is still incredibly robust and the unique features of it give you the ability to land and take off in really tight and unusual places in the bush and backcountry. This is also helped by being a Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) aircraft.
The Carbon Cub EX from Big Tire Productions features high-resolution PBR texturing, and FMOD sounds. The developers have worked with various pilots, which has also helped in creating a realistic flight model and users will be able to simulate hydroplaning.
Our friend Q8Pilot took the aircraft out for a spin and shared his experience on YouTube.
