Aviotek Software Reveals 2019 Roadmap

Aviotek Software, an X-Plane scenery developer has revealed their 2019 roadmap in a short blog post on their site. 2018 appears to have been one of the greatest years for the X-Plane community and it looks like things can only get better going forward.

Aviotek has made some very important steps forward during 2018, with a 96% customer satisfaction rate, they can’t be much happier or proud of that figure. They are planning to make some simple but effective changes to the product line and the way they operate.

In the works, is a new and improved website and blog to make it easier for you, the customer to get in touch with them. The Facebook page is the most common place for questions to be asked but they would love to create a network for all to access support more easily.

Aviotek is currently experimenting with a bunch of new things to implement into their next project, they’re expected to reveal what this project is within the first few months of 2019. To add to this, Aviotek has partnered with Orbx and has had involvement in the development of TrueEarth and will continue to work on future projects with Orbx.

In regards to their existing products, Aviotek is working on integrating SAM Jetways into Dubai (OMDB) and to add an option where you can choose between their included Dubai landmarks or revert them to default X-Plane. It will take longer than expected but will be seen in the next available update. For Venice Marco Polo Airport, a major update is planned although it’s not a priority.

To conclude, the team at Aviotek wish you a very happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year.

We will endeavor to provide coverage for the updates and products Aviotek Software is intending to release in the near future.
