AutoFPS has been updated and now supports Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. If you’re unfamiliar, the tool will allow you to pre-select certain settings and once it recognises your sim’s FPS start to dip, it will automatically begin adjusting settings such as LOD to try and keep your frame rates as stable as possible.
Auto FPS will allow you to set a minimum frame rate you desire and then adjust a number of in-sim settings ‘on the fly’ to achieve that specific frame rate. The result: a smoother experience when in different phases of flight in areas of the world that are more demanding from your simulator (think big cities and heavy airports).
You can set up different settings for day/night, along with the type of flying you are doing.
AutoFPS is freely available via GitHub and you can grab a download from here.
