After months of development, AUscene took to their Facebook page to share that their Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport scenery will be available for purchase soon.
Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport (YBWW/WTB), formerly known as Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport, is one of Australia’s newest airports. Open in 2014 and featuring an over 9,000 foot runway, Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport is capable of handling aircraft as large as the Boeing 747. While the airport no longer receives scheduled flights from Cathay Pacific Cargo, it still has flights with QantasLink and Rex Airlines. In addition to the passenger services, the airport will be home to Boeing Australia’s manufacturing facility for the Boeing MQ-28 Ghost Bat, an unmanned aerial vehicle.
In their Facebook post, AUscene stated that the project’s development is finally nearing completion. In this development update, AUScene featured the apron area, along with the ground equipment clutter scattered throughout the facility. The team is currently completing the final touches on the scenery, including placing the final fences and airport signs. As a result, it should not be too long before the scenery is available for purchase.
