Hamilton Island Airport, also known as Great Barrier Reef Airport (YBHM), has been released by AUscene. Located on a small island just off the northeast coast of Queensland, Australia, the airport sees year round service by Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin Australia. The airport is a popular destination for tourists.
AUscene’s rendition of the airport features a hand crafted Hamilton and Dent Island with high resolution aerial imagery and high resolution terrain data (1m). Hamilton island features an authentic representation of the airport. The team has also recreated the island’s resort as well as its marina.
The airport itself comes with complete interior modelling for the terminal, control tower and Hamilton Island Air. It features custom ground clutter and custom vehicles and boats, golf carts, 3D people, static planes and helicopters and other animated objects.
