AUscene Announces Aldinga Airfield for MSFS

Coming soon after the release of their Ayers Rock Airport for MSFS, scenery developer AUscene has taken to Facebook again, this time previewing Aldinga Airfield (YADG) for MSFS.

Aldinga Airfield (YADG) is an unmonitored, privately-owned airfield located in the heart of the McLaren Vale Wine region, a region most well known for its high-quality wines produced from the Shiraz grape. The airport is located in very close proximity to Adelaide and was constructed in 1976 by a group of private individuals seeking to establish an airlink to the McLaren Vale Wine region. The airport nowadays serves mainly as a stopover destination for aviators flying from or to Kangaroo Island or the Eyre Peninsula.

Australian scenery developer AUscene has recently announced that they are currently in the process of bringing this iconic Australian airfield to MSFS. Although not providing users with a detailed feature list, judging by the screenshots, the scenery looks as though it will again live up to the developers’ previously set quality standards.

Finally, the developer did neither provide any information regarding pricing nor a planned release date at this time in their recent Facebook post. However, looking at the screenshots, a release should not be too far off in the future.

As always, we will keep you posted on the ongoing progress regarding this airfield and will notify you once it is released.
