The major cargo hub and Luxembourg’s only international airport (ICAO: ELLX) has landed in both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 by scenery developer Atelic.
The airport in the landlocked nation is home to both national airline Luxair and international cargo carrier CargoLux. With a 4,000m-long runway, which has an interesting and somewhat challenging profile in real life, Luxembourg airport has undergone an expansion in recent years with new land and airside developments, which Atelic’s scenery purports to emulate in their product.
Among other things, the team have included a handcrafted airport and landside area, animated airport tram with two stations and functional tram signals, a number of custom buildings outside the airport and also a fully modelled terminal interior.
