Dresden Airport has been recreated with a fully up-to-date layout, featuring a detailed terminal interior that includes the underground railway station. The apron, stands, and markings are accurately modelled, alongside custom animated ground vehicles and realistic terrain with runway slope.
Key highlights include detailed interiors for the Elbe Flugzeugwerke (Halle 230) and IABG hangars, a fully modelled control tower, and additional airport buildings. High-quality PBR textures, realistic ground wear, custom satellite imagery, and seamless photogrammetry integration enhance the overall look, while custom jetways, night lighting, and an included GSX profile round out the experience.

Atelic has confirmed Dresden Airport with a new trailer for the airport product.
The upcoming scenery brings Dresden Airport (EDDC) to life with a detailed recreation of the terminal buildings, an accurate airport layout, and a fully realised ground environment designed to reflect real-world operations. From apron detailing to surrounding infrastructure, the airport aims to deliver an immersive regional German hub for sim pilots.
One of the standout features highlighted in the trailer is the inclusion of the EFW hangars, where the Airbus A380 undergoes interior refurbishment in the real world. These have been carefully modelled within the scenery, adding a unique operational element rarely seen at other airports in the simulator.
Dresden Airport itself serves as a smaller but important gateway to eastern Germany, handling a mix of domestic and European traffic alongside seasonal leisure routes. Airlines such as Lufthansa and various holiday carriers connect Dresden to hubs like Frankfurt and Munich, as well as destinations across southern Europe, making it a varied option for both short-haul and regional flying.
