With the pandemic of COVID-19 continuing to impact businesses, schools, events and day-to-day life, the effects are starting to impact our virtual environment. We knew from a few weeks ago that Microsoft would be slowing down development updates on their new simulator, but of course, this pandemic would start to have an impact on the developers and development time. To that end, Asobo Studios, the developers behind the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator, has issued a very brief statement about their current well-being.
The statement reads as follows:
“Hi family, we wanted to write a quick message here just to say that we are fine. We are currently working from home and trying our best to deliver the things we promised.
We’ll try and continue to keep you updated via social networks as much as possible. We hope you and your loved ones are safe.
Talk to you as soon as possible, ❤️
The Asobo Team”
We’ll continue to follow the situation from Asobo Studios, and all others, and report when we feel is required to keep the community updated.
If you are not aware, currently, France is a strict 15-day lockdown with travel only permitted provided it is essential.
We, of course, hope everyone stays safe and follows any advice given to them by their Governments, local authorities or health service provider.
