Freeware developer Aquitaine Sceneries has released their freeware Bergerac Dordogne Perigord Airport (LFBE) rendition for FSX and P3D. The airport is an update of their previous version of the Bergerac Airport. The new version includes an overhauled ground markings and ramp, new textures and 3D grass. The new arrival hall that opened in 2019 has also been added. The scenery has been optimized for better framerates, only weighing 38 Mb.
The Bergerac Airport (LFBE) is the gateway to the Dordogne and Perigord regions of France, where many British and Dutch people own secondary houses. Depending on the season, the airport sees a lot of touristic flights operated mostly by Ryanair, Transavia, Jet2, British Airways and until last year by now defunct FlyBe. The airport also has an extended general aviation traffic, ranging from light single props to heavier business jets. The Bergerac Airport has seen around 280.000 passengers in 2018. The new arrival hall enables the airport to welcome up to 400.000 passengers per year.
The Bergerac Dordogne Perigord Airport is available for free on Aquitaine Sceneries Website. Do not hesitate to drop a small appreciation email to the developer to thank him for his work.
