AOA Simulations Reiterates X-Plane Commitment, Previews V-22

Following the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator, AOA Simulations has reiterated in a Facebook announcement their commitment to the X-Plane development environment. However, the developer added that they did not rule out development for “other platforms” in the future, without further details. The company cited that X-Plane fitted well their current business scheme, and that as it was a great platform not only for entertainment purposes but also for engineering and research tasks. As such, AOA Simulations collaborates with other private companies and the academic sector. Furthermore, the developer reminds us that X-Plane is currently the only major flight simulator that is available for Linux and macOS users. In a final word, AOA Simulations previewed of few pictures of the cockpit of their next project, the V-22 Osprey. The developer added a disclaimer regarding the texturing which is temporary at this point.
