Back in July, Imaginesim announced that they would be issuing a free update for their KATL Atlanta product for new and existing customers. The team today took to Facebook to announce that the airport is testing-complete and will be released very soon.
To celebrate, a single image was shared showing a moody night scenery at the airport.
Some of the changes include the addition of the canopies above the North and South terminal passenger drop-0ff zones, changes to the taxi system and also Concourse E. In addition, the team will also use the SWS animations module found at Singapore (WSSS) as well as other unconfirmed features. Some features such as 4K texturing or remodelling of multiple buildings are not within the scope of the free update.
In related Imaginesim news, they did confirm that they are going to build a brand new version of Atlanta, which will include some of those missing elements. What is interesting is that they confirmed they are going to look at bringing it to Microsoft Flight Sim 2020.
This free update for KATL Atlanta will be made available soon for customers who purchased the product after October 2015. We will let you know once it has been released.
