November seems to be a time of year where many flight sim community members are taking to the skies in aid of charity. Whilst WorldFlight is on-going, the team at Group Flight Northern Ireland will be doing their own 24-our event which will be live streamed and flown online via VATSIM. This year, the team will be raising money for Cash4Kids Northern Ireland. So far, the team have raised over £1800. Obviously, they’re looking to push that total even higher during the event.
Group Flight Northern Ireland will be using Alphatech’s fixed-base A320. They will be taking the A320 on a variety of legs including Belfast, Hamburg, Innsbruck, Alicante and more. The 24-hour tour will see a total of 14 legs. All of this will be starting Sunday 4th November 2018 at 08:00 Zulu.
The guys are suggesting that viewers should tune into the Twitch stream to watch the event unfold. They’re also saying that the community can get involved. By donating a small amount, the team can then unleash a huge range of failures to test the pilots as they travel between the airports. It should make for some interesting viewing! Furthermore, the team have a wealth of prizes available for the community to give away to those who participate. Prizes have been supplied from the likes of Orbx, Aerosoft, TFDi Design, Sim720, OldProp and much, much more!
