After recently announcing the start of beta testing on social media, developer Airworthy Designs has released their St. Barts scenery for MSFS.
Known for its iconic approaches, Gustaf III Airport (TFFJ/SBH) is located on the French Caribbean island of St. Barthélemy. With a runway length of just over 2,110 feet, the airport’s operations are limited to propeller aircraft such as the Pilatus PC-12 and Cessna Grand Caravan. Despite this limitation, the airport offers a number of commercial services to the nearby Caribbean islands, most notably St. Maarten. Because of the short runway and unusual approach path, St. Barts airport was ranked third in the History Channel documentary Most Extreme Airports.

Airworthy Designs’ rendition of St. Barts not only includes the challenging airport but modeling for the entire island. The scenery includes famous landmarks, such as the Port of Gustavia, and accurate mesh modeling for the sloped terrain next to the runway. In addition, the airport features full interior and exterior modeling of the terminal while ensuring the scenery remains easy on framerates.
You can get your copy of Airworthy Designs’ St. Barts scenery from simMarket for €18.50.
