Scenery developer Airworthy Designs has released Saba & St Barts. Part of their TFFJ Princess of the Caribbean package, part two contains these two islands to give simmers in X-Plane 11 a challenge and a scenic approach into them.
Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport, on the island of Saba, has a short 1,300ft runway, and provides services to Sint Marteen, Antigua and Anguilla. Gustaf III Airport, is probably an airport you’ve seen in many YouTube videos of insanely low approaches over a mountain with a very short stop at the end (before you could go running into the ocean). The St Barth commuter airline serves various airports in the Caribbean including Barbuda, Punta Cana and Barbados.
The developer says that Saba & St Barts have been designed with performance in mind so users should have a great experience throughout. The entire project has been made with all PBR assets and there has been extensive use of photo scenery and ortho imagery throughout. Along with detailed texture work, the team have created a range of 3D assets specific to the airports along with many handplaced objects throughout.
You can buy Airworthy Design’s TFFJ – Princess of the Caribbean Part 2 Saba & St Barts on X-Plane.org for $26.95.
