Airworthy Designs Comments on Microsoft Flight Simulator Development

Scenery developer Airworthy Designs has commented on their future with Microsoft Flight Simulator. Following on from reading the SDK and getting a better understanding of it, the team will be moving forward with development on the new platform.

Starting off with St Martin and Grand Case, the team will first concentrate on that scenery package being converted from X-Plane 11 to Microsoft Flight Simulator. They realise that the new simulator is much more VRAM intensive and as such will need to ensure that the assets are optimised to ensure a smooth performing experience.

After that, the team will focus on South American airports as they will want to produce a range of products that can also be used for real-world flight training.

Airworthy Designs said that more updates will follow in time. Stay with FSElite and we’ll continue to provide you with Microsoft Flight Simulator related content.
