Airfoillabs has released a new update for the King Air 350 in X-Plane 12, bringing the aircraft to version 2.0.2. This update marks a return to development for the product, with the team noting they are “back on the King Air 350 XP12” and intend for this to be the start of a more regular update cycle.
Version 2.0.2 introduces a range of improvements across systems, avionics, and audio. A key addition is the implementation of a native X-Plane 12 weather radar for the MFD version of the aircraft, along with fixes for the GPS version’s radar functionality.
Avionics and navigation have received significant attention. The update addresses VNAV guidance, ensuring descent profiles display correctly after Top of Descent and approach indications work across all screens, including reversionary modes. The RNAV autopilot logic for the MFD variant has also been corrected.

In terms of audio, the Audio Panel logic has been completely rebuilt, with the FMOD routing being reorganised for cleaner sound behaviour and fixed bugs related to Morse Code identification. Additionally, a new feature allows users to simulate Noise Cancelling Headphones via a menu icon.
System logic has also been refined. Engine starting now correctly accounts for generator loads at idle thrust to prevent stalls, and a bug regarding battery voltage failure has been resolved. On the ground, reverser logic has been fixed, and a custom prop control has been implemented to improve thrust behaviour.
Visually, the update adds menu options to show or hide instrument glass and windshield dirt, as well as correcting the directionality of the left strobe light.
The Airfoillabs King Air 350 is available from the X-Plane.org Store and is currently priced at $34.97, discounted from the regular price of $49.95.
