As promised during the Aerosoft presentation on the FSElite Stage, the CRJ update is now live. Version 2.1.0 is a big update, delivering a number of significant changes across the board for the aircraft.
Version 2.1.10 delivers a substantial update focused on refining the flight and engine models across all CRJ variants, with improved realism and responsiveness. Key cockpit enhancements include updates to air outlets, gear lever, and seat indicators, alongside smoother VR camera transitions and a new master brightness knob for RTUs and MCDUs. Several autopilot and flight guidance features were fixed or reworked, such as the autopilot disengagement logic in MSFS 2024, better FD mode handling, refined AP coupling indicators, and more accurate ETA and TOD calculations. Notably, the .air files were removed from the project, and new flex temperature tables were added to support improved takeoff performance management.
Navigation and system logic have also seen major improvements, including fixes for DME arcs, RF legs, VNAV displays, and custom waypoint handling. The GSX integration has been expanded with GPU support and pushback behaviour refinements, while smaller fixes enhance realism, like corrected flap behaviour, spoiler deployment, and TCAS range indications. Additional polish includes sound feedback improvements (e.g., PA and CALL chimes), improved MCDU interface elements, and smoother aircraft performance metrics. Overall, this update brings significant depth, accuracy, and functionality to the CRJ simulation experience.
