Aerosoft has issued a non-experimental update for their A318/19/20/21 Professional series. Version 1.2.5.0 has a handful of new improvements and a selection of bugs fixes since the previous patch was released.
Some of the bugs to be fixed include fixing door issues during a turn-around state, incorrect fuel burn from the center tank and also the wrong calculation of deceleration point in geo descent. As for the improvements, there has been undisclosed tweaks to the PFD, a resize of the 2D MCDU to prevent overlapping and also an overhaul to the FADEC logic (which is also in preparation of the upcoming Aerosoft A330).
The full list of changes for version 1.2.5.0 is listed down below.
Two notes were also included in the forum post for users to be mindful of.
- On some systems it is impossible to load the aircraft unless you first select another aircraft, we do not know why at this moment but it is being looked at.
- The installer overwrites possibly newer installed NavDataPro (Lufthansa Datasystem) navdata, so make sure you backup those files first. We will change the installer for the next full release to avoid that
To download the update, you will have to download a full new installer. The update is not available via the updater tool.
You can check out the full product page for the Aerosoft A318/19/20/21 bundle here. It’s currently available for €67.19 (excluding tax).
