Aerosoft’s A330 subdomain website has been updated with fresh details for its upcoming A330NEO for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024. Whilst the plane was announced during FlightSimExpo 2025, the team is now ready to share some new details on the upcoming plane, including an estimated timeframe for release.
On the revamped website, we now know that the plane will come with a range of features not previously seen from Aerosoft aircraft in the past. For starters, we learned that there will be a fully functional OANS (Onboard Airport Navigation System) built into the plane and accessed via the navigation display. We also found out that Aerosoft has built the LNAV and VNAV systems from the ground up and will take into account lateral and vertical guidance, including the associated autopilot modes.
The website also confirms that the A330-900 will be the only model made for the package and will be coming to both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. There will be full SimBrief and GSX integration, along with independent MCDUs.
For those curious about the Aerosoft A330CEO, a patch will be released “shortly after release”, which will include bug fixes, MSFS 2024 support and will bring the aircraft up to the same technical standard as the NEO.
Finally, as for the expected release date, Aerosoft is hoping to release the A330NEO in the Fall of 2025. If not then, then before the end of the year. It was also confirmed that Aerosoft will be previewing the A330NEO at Gamescom this week in Cologne, Germany. FSElite will be present at the event and will be going hands-on with the plane, so expect some coverage from us in the coming days.
