Aerosoft has today released Rome XP for X-Plane. The Italian airport serves as one of the biggest in the country seeing multiple carriers use the airport as a hub for their operations. Opening back in 1960, the airport quickly rose to be a popular airport thanks to it’s nearby tourist sights and large office space for businesses. Aerosoft, along with developers MK Studio, Caipirinha Games and Omar Masroor have brought the beautiful airport to the world of X-Plane.
The airport features high resolution ground textures, including a complete taxiway network ensuring that your airport will match the real world charts. This has been enhanced by the use of the X-Life plugin by JARDesign. The airport also boosts animated passenger jetways, safedocks and more. It’s promised that the airport strikes a good balance between quality and performance allowing as many people as possible to enjoy the airport.
You can buy it now from Aerosoft’s store for €21.81. There doesn’t appear to be any discount for owners of the P3D version at this point in time.
