As announced at FSWeekend 2026, Aerosoft has released Stuttgart Airport and Stuttgart Airfield Collection for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Stuttgart Airport (EDDS)
Stuttgart Airport (EDDS) is a key hub for southern Germany, serving over 100 destinations across Europe and beyond. It is a major base for Eurowings, with additional services from Lufthansa, KLM, and various leisure carriers, connecting the region to many European cities.
The scenery has been built exclusively for MSFS 2024 and includes an airport layout current as of March 2026, alongside custom terrain elevation, runway profiles, high-resolution texturing, and detailed nighttime lighting.
The package also features custom taxiway signage, bespoke approach and taxiway lighting models, AI-compatible stands with airline parking codes, custom jetways, and support for both Aerosoft VDGS and GSX VDGS. Aerosoft says it has also included custom GSX profiles with accurate procedures to further enhance ground operations.

Stuttgart Airfield Collection
Aerosoft has also released Airfields Stuttgart, a package featuring six smaller airfields across the wider Stuttgart region, each with its own unique character and focus on general aviation.
The included airfields range from Pattonville (EDTQ), a former U.S. Army base now used for GA and home to DRF Luftrettung operations, to Hahnweide (EDST), a historic grass strip known for vintage aircraft events. The pack also includes Wächtersberg (EDSV) and Deckenpfronn (ED41), both quieter fields catering to light aircraft and ultralight flying, alongside Grabenstetten (EDSG) and Esslingen-Jägerhaus (EDZT), which are primarily focused on gliding and benefit from favourable local conditions.
Aerosoft has included custom orthophotos, bespoke terrain meshes, and on-site reference work to ensure accuracy, along with animated people, custom night lighting, and a range of detailed clutter objects such as gliders, trailers, caravans, and fencing.
